Honoring Veterans

Veterans of US military conflicts in the 20th century now have a museum in their honor. Opened in November, the Veterans Memorial Museum in Branson, Mo., uses sculpture, murals, historical artifacts, objets d’art and other war memorabilia to commemorate those who fought in World Wars I and II, as well as the Korean, Vietnam and Gulf wars. More than 400,000 names of soldiers killed during World War II are listed on the museum’s walls, along with those killed in Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storm and other 20th-century conflicts. For more information about the museum, see <www.veteransmemorialbranson.com> or call (417) 336-2300.
