Favorite genealogy find: 1924 newspaper article about my grandfather putting himself through college—with a picture!
Quirkiest ancestor: My great-grandfather was incarcerated (then pardoned by the governor) for bootlegging in a dry county.
Other hobbies: Walking my dog, growing tomatoes and strawberries to nourish the local bunny population, volunteering, recycling

What I do at the magazine: Patrol the forum for spammers, edit the History Matters, Now What? and Family Archivist sections of the magazine, oversee Family Tree University and its webinar series, and serve as de facto preservation expert.

Favorite genealogy find: My great-grandmother's Social Security application showing that she worked at the Cleveland Press at the time
