MyFamily.com has expanded its immigration records collection on Ancestry.com <Ancestry.com > to include all readily available US passenger lists from 1820 through 1960, covering more than 100 ports of arrival and 100 million names. The database includes digitized images of 7 million passenger lists and 1,000 ships.
A few of the most notable additions: more years for the ports of New York and Boston, Detroit border crossings (1905 to 1957), emigrants from Baden-Wurttemburg (1735 to 1930), English emigrants (1609 to 1733) and Seattle passengers and crew (1882 to 1957).
An estimated 85 percent of Americans can find at least one ancestor in the expanded collection, which contains immigrants as well as business travelers and people visiting family in the old country. You can access the records with a $155.40 annual subscription to the US Deluxe collection.
