FamilyLink has doubled the offerings on its World Vital Records database site <worldvitalrecords.com> by adding a World Collection of international records. Built through partnerships with 20-plus record-holding organizations, the new collection has 1.5 billion records from about 35 countries. Major components include:

• UK census records (1851 to 1901) from FindMyPast.com <findmypast.com>

• 9,000 passenger lists from the Immigrant Ships Transcribers Guild <www.immigrantships.net>

• 600 databases from Genealogical Publishing Co. <www.genealogical.com> books and CDs

• newspapers from Canada (180 titles), Mexico (150 titles), England, Ireland, Australia, the Bahamas, Chile and Ecuador

Other partners include Archive CD Books <www.archivecdbooks.org> businesses in Canada and Australia, Irish reference publisher Eneclann <eneclann.ie>, UK records site British Origins <www.originsnetwork.com>, the Godfrey Memorial Library <www.godfrey.org> in Connecticut and Australian book distributor Gould Genealogy <www.gould.com.au>.

The World Collection, which includes databases in the US Collection, costs $149.95 per year. The US Collection by itself costs $49.95 per year.
